Take a location sold by a failing Dunkin' Donuts, change the name to something that doesn't have any brand recognition, and then wonder why no one comes there... Although I'd like to check it out just to see how much it shares with its previous tenents. It looks like they pretty much just changed font and first word on the signs...

Changing a headlight bulb in an Accord is really easy.. almost TOO easy.... And now to continue with the compltely unrelated gummi theme here is photo of some mutant gummi bears..

Part of being an adult is junk mail.. well that and larger amounts of taxes taken out of my paycheck... It's finally winter here, there's snow on the ground and everything. It seems that when it's really cold here it is in the single digits, so if that's all I have to deal with I'm pretty happy about it. I like the weather around here so far.... Here are a few pictures, the gummi bear was beheaded and photographed by Kara. Note the Billings refinery smoke in the background. The second is me getting ready to bust some heads at work at a very early hour. Note the sweet ink stain on the used shirt I was given. It's since been replaced by two other shirts that are clean, but way too big.. Eventually they'll get it right. The last one is from a couple of weeks ago, a cool sunset I took with Kara's camera. It's a powershot A570 is and I like it quite a bit. The IS is very useful in l ow or any indoor light.

Work is providing me with some beautiful sunrises and sunsets these days. Sometimes clouds are good for something, too bad we hardly get any.. (hehe)

Good : I get my first paycheck this Thursday Bad : My clutch finally crapped out, and I need to use most of said paycheck to get a new one..

Global warming is sweet, it was 60 degrees here today. I rode Palmer Park and there was a touch of snow in some of the darker areas, but the trail itself was perfectly dry. I even sweat a bit in my helmet and light shirt! So here are some crooked self timer shots. My trusty gorillapod broke (completely my fault) so tripod selection was limited to large rocks.

As you know, I'm now officially part of the workforce. I've helping to create titanium screws that will eventually end up in someones body hopefully improving their life. It's pretty interesting work, and a bit of a "management" position. That's right, I'm in charge and stuff. Well, sort of. So here are a bunch of pictures from my big camera from the last couple of weeks. I had been to tired/busy to touch it until today. The first set is from Florence followed by the trip back through mostly Wyoming, the most boring state to drive through besides Kansas. The sunset was pretty awesome though.. Kara's parents visited a week ago, so we visited a bunch of places we've been holding off for a while. First on the list was Pikes Peak. I had gotten a free pass up for doing trail work, so now was the best time to cash in. The road up was pretty fun, I wish I had been driving an escudo though.. The next day was to the Air Force Academy, which was also pretty cool. Anywhere that has armed guards and gunships patrolling is an interesting place to be in my book. The chapel is the most striking thing at the academy, built to resemble airplane props.

One of the olympic training centers is here in the 'springs, so we visited it. They do a number of things here including cycling and shooting. There's even a velodrome, which would be pretty cool to check out sometime when there are races. After that, we went to the Garden of the Gods for a quick tourist session. That place is really pretty, I see something new each time I go. The Rings in front of balanced rock
