Fruita!

Image
So last weekend my housemate James and I went to Fruita to meet up with Marshall, Josh, and my clone. Here are some pictures from the first day of riding primarily on a trail called Joe's Ridge. Good stuff it was. From Fruita! .. Click on any of these for more

While waiting for John to "develop" his Fruita pictures I'll put these up. I went to Boulder today and met up with some friends from Bozeman for a bit of climbing. I hadn't done it in about a year and a half but jumped right back in without many problems. It was pretty fun, too bad climbing season is coming to an end pretty quick here.

Mount Herman

It was 60 and sunny yesterday so I went for a ride a mere 5 minutes from where I work. Go figure, I do that commute every day and end up doing it on the weekend too. It was definitely worth it, especially since it's been alternating between snow and rain all day today. The weather is supposed to clear up though, and I'm looking forward to meeting up with the clone and some other friends from Bozeman in Fruita on Friday for more bike riding. Because everyone needs personalized brake levers..

Saturday Morning.. and a new bike

Image
So many of my evenings and Sunday mornings have been spent riding my housemate's cruiser bike around town. I live close to downtown, so It's easy to hop on the go check stuff out, hang out at a coffee shop, you know.. city stuff. That leads us to the final of these three pictures.. I decided only two bikes isn't enough and I needed another, something upright and slow... So I got this for a screamin' deal at Left Side Spin , a local shop. Saturday morning I went to Garden of the Gods to take some morning photos during the sunrise. They worked out alright, nothing special. Then a nice ride and I was back home before noon to spend the rest of the day enjoying the sun and upper 70's temps. Come to think of it, why am I inside right now? Later
