Kara's parents visited a week ago, so we visited a bunch of places we've been holding off for a while. First on the list was Pikes Peak. I had gotten a free pass up for doing trail work, so now was the best time to cash in. The road up was pretty fun, I wish I had been driving an escudo though.. The next day was to the Air Force Academy, which was also pretty cool. Anywhere that has armed guards and gunships patrolling is an interesting place to be in my book. The chapel is the most striking thing at the academy, built to resemble airplane props.
